Airedale High School again demonstrated their invincibility with an impressive victory over Great Sankey of Warrington in the Carnegie Champion Schools Rugby League Finals in August.

Airedale High School's Class of 2008 smashed all records for GCSE achievement with 71% achieving 5 or more good passes in the summer exams, an increase of 17% on the previous year.  41% achieved 5 good passes including English & Maths, again significantly up on any previous year.

The Annual Presentation Evening will be held on Tuesday 2nd December in the Phoenix Theatre. 

The Airedale Arts festival, in the brand new Castleford Phoenix Theatre, is taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the 18th, 19th and 20th of November.
